Historical ArticleAn old post card pictures Convention Hall where Herbert Clark Hoover and Charles Curtis were nominated at the Republican National Convention in June, 1928. Neither man was in Kansas City during the convention since it was not customary at the time. They were notified at their respective homes in Palo Alto, Calif. And Topeka.
