DescriptionAerial view of the Municipal Airport, later called the Kansas City Downtown Airport and later the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport. It is located in the bend of the Missouri River across from the convergence of the Kansas River near downtown Kansas City. This view shows the river and some of the land on either side. Bridges in view include the Broadway Bridge, 2nd Hannibal Bridge, and the ASB Bridge. Portions of roadways and railroad tracks are also visible.
