Title: Advertising Card Scrapbook

Description: A hardbound scrapbook containing 82 pages of advertising and calling cards plus 5 unused pages. Cards are mainly for businesses outside Missouri, but some Kansas City businesses are represented on pages 80-81. There are a number of cards showing farming and farm machinery, Christmas themes, African American stereotypes, stoves, women, children, animals, and of course, flowers. There are cigarette card sets from a number of companies on various themes including:
-Medals or stars of Orders (pages 3, 5-7, 34-35)
-Animals (pages 10-11, 39)
-Birds (pages 14-15)
-Fish (pages 18-19)
-Military uniforms (pages 22-23)
-Athletes (pages 26-27)
-International costume, coins, smoking (pages 30-31, 44-45)
-State capitol buildings (pages 38-39)
-Boys playing (pages 40-41).
