Description: Exterior view which includes a partial view believed to be the home of Mrs. B. T. Whipple located at 4538 Warwick Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Includes view of crowd in attendance. According to information found in the scrapbook, a military musical was sponsored by the Kansas City Chapter of the DAR at the Whipple home in honor of Battery D. Mrs. Whipple was the sister of Marvin Gates, the company's captain. Former Governor George H. Hodges of Kansas gave a brief address and he may be included in the center of this view.
